Seymour Duncan SPB-2

An excellent pickup which, in conjunction with the matching bridge pickup, the SJB-2B makes available a terrific range of tones. I used them as a pair to replace the stock pickups on a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS and it has improved an already good guitar almost beyond recognition. Seymour Duncan say it's their most popular "Basslines" pickup and it's very easy to see (or should that be hear?) why.

I bought Seymor Duncan SPB-2 pickup set to upgrade my Harley Benton HPB-120 bass. Installation required a little work for body to get SPB-2 to fit in body. Otherwise pickups were easy to install by welding. Tone of my old HarleyBenton is now much better than with original pickups. Low tones are very clear and the power of sound is better, I think the sound is somehow fuller than with original pickups. Sound of SPB-2 and HPB-120 is now much more suitable for our bands metal music.

I purchased this Seymour Duncan P Bass pickup in order to replace the stock Fender pups on my J/P Bass

This model and the SJB Duncan pup are the perfect combination for making the guitar come alive. The Bass has now a balanced sound with rounded attack, whatever rig it is played through.

It really gives the bass more weight an definition at the same time, my squier bass sounds a lot better now

its as advertised,, The P bass sound you've got in your head, but a little hotter output.

I play rock music and the go to pup is the SPB3, but the SPB2 beats that on all fronts (for my ears!)

if you want to upgrade, go SPB2. and that's the bottom line!

I made new precision bass for me, and studyed lots of pickup alternatives from internet. I searched like original precision sound, but little bit more lo ends. Okay, this pickup is right choise for me. Lots of power, but still it can articulate so well ass I hoped. The sound depends quite lots for my right hands position... boom to deeply articulated. So good for me.

Love these they are very clear and in my opinion much better than the SPB-3's that I have used in the past.

I am very pleased with these and Thomman are a fantastic company to deal with a huge big thumbs up from me :)

For those wanting their guitar to sound better, warmer, with more clarity and sustain. For me it was a nice upgrade for my Squier Telecaster
