Shubb SP2 Slide

I bought this to augment a 15 year old SP-2 that has been my mainstay since I got it. The old one is still working fine, but if I lose it I now have a spare.

After 15 years, some of the plating has worn away but other than that, it's still good as new.

If you have big hands, this is the one to go for, IMO... much less tiring in a long playing session than a little slide like the Dunlop Ben Harper model.

Bottom line, the SP-2 has great balance and it never feels like I'm fighting it when things speed up. Highly, highly recommended.

Very nice slide, easily my favourite. No complaints. Other than differences in personal taste I can't see how it could be better. Perfect and HIGHLY recommended!!!

I am a newbie in lap steel guitar. I just have made a lap steel guitar myself. Now I’m trying to learn how to play on it. This is the only place, where I could find to buy this genuine slide. This is the best tonebar I could dream of! It is solid, hard, shiny and comfortable tohold and to play. I think, it’s best solution for lap steel.

great bar. nice weight and tone. good options with both sides have enjoyed it on dobro lap and pedal steel and find it great on all of them. particularly hand to have just one bar for all.

The curved tip to this tone bar is a great feature to enable you to accurately sound individual strings by rolling the bar forwards. Having used other bars in the past, I would recommend this one to anybody starting up. Great build quality and weight too.

Heavy and well made of god quality steel.
Great for lap steel or / and square neck resonators.

Take care that there are few sizes!

Definitely the right weight and shape. Works better for me than a round type slide.

Very ergonomic and perfect weight....Just a little short for my lapsteel however....I got myself a longer SP1 now.

Easy to handle, good weight, easy to using even for novice, like me. Definitely would buy again, if need.
