The best entry level microphone.
Riccardo Pastorello 25.06.2019
Great product for the price i paid, while this is the cheapest "Shure" wireless microphone, it's the best "value for money" mic. there is on the market.
The things i love about this microphone are:
-the compactness
-the distance that the reciever can handle
-the great quality of the materials
-the battery lasts for a very long time

My only concern is that the microphone doesen't have a rack support.

High handling noise!
Anonymous 22.07.2014
I bought this mic for wedding speeches and a few times to sing with when i am not using my Neumann KMS105 wired mic. It is ok, for a bottom range wireless mic...but for the money, (150euro+) and the brand of Shure, i was surprised at how much handling noise there is. Whenever you move your hands on the mic shaft (speeches of course!) it makes noises, and a few times when singing I might accidentally touch my teeth with it making loud bangs! I am a full time singer and this is my first radio mic, but i have to hold it now sooooo softly to keep the thing quiet! I would send it back if i could. UPDATE: I no longer sing through this mic and would not reccommedn it for singers. Only use for wedding speeches now, even then..amateur mic uses are constantly banging it and making loud handling noises... much to the dismay of the AV guy trying to record the speeches!!

Shure BLX24/PG58 S8 Review
DeclanM 14.07.2014
These microphones are used for PA in a hall and are a quality item. Not cheap, but good. They handle well, are retained well by the clips, and are light and balanced. Handling noise is close to zero, and there is no lag in transmission once they are switched on. They use 2.AA batteries and claim 30 hours usage.
Short on extra features and eye candy, but who cares?
