I have used almost every major looper on the market (RC-300, Pigtronix Inifiniy, TC Electronic X4, EHX, Headrush, etc) and none of them even come close to how good the Aeros Loop Studio is.
I have seen many complaints from people that were bugs or missing features. I just got my unit a few days ago and there was an update available over Wifi (very convenient and easy - first pedal I have seen that has a wifi connection!) and now the software works perfectly for me.
What I like about it:
1. Visual display is beautiful and makes looping much easier because you can see the loop waveforms on the screen.
2. Six parallel tracks: Having six independent tracks that can play at the same time gives you great flexibility to make different length loops that play at the same time, you can also do unlimited overdubs (layers) on each track.
3. Six song parts: This is the only looper I have used that has the capability to have song parts (each with 6 parallel tracks) so you can make multi section arrangements of songs. Incredible song composition possibilities.
4. Hands free mixing with the volume wheel.
5. Small form factor: Much smaller than most other high end loopers.
In conclusion: With the new update this looper has become the best looper available on the market today. And the company seems to be adding more features very rapidly so I expect it to just continue getting better.
