Extremely satisfied with this sick guitar
magda.d3050 04.08.2023
I’ve been searching for a baritone guitar for a while now. And I came across this solar baritone. i fell in love with this instantly.

The package arrived sooner than i thought. The the guitar came with three layers of cardboard box and its case. It is a very secure packaging.

The guitar itself is amazing. It find it very comfortable playing on it. The strings are lighter than I thought they would be. The gig bag looks very durable and is easy to carry.

Overall i recommend this product and im very satisfied with it!

Great guitar - has it's flaws
Cow Of God 02.10.2024
This guitar is by no means a bad guitar, or even average. The guitar feels great to play and the Duncan Solar pickups sound great for metal and clean alike. The one critique I have mostly, is the price. After playing a Chapman Modern Baritone that I got brand new for £399, I would not be able to justify the additional price tag on this Solar Baritone especially since the Chapman has locking tuners and this doesn't. The guitar was also intonated nearly a whole semitone out of tune at the 12th fret on the G string, however this is an easy enough fix if you know what you are doing. In addition, the finish on my guitar is only flamed on one half of the body which I don't mind too much but for this price point seems like a big oversight in the factory.

Overall the guitar is good but if you don't care about the V shape, I would suggest getting a Chapman or Harley Benton Baritone as they both go for around half the price with much better specs and consistency, however the product itself isn't bad and if you don't have a problem with the specs or the issues listed, go for it.

(I also had a problem with the delivery however this is not the fault of Thomann or Solar so I have not taken this into account when reviewing)
