This is a great value solid, reliable alternative to a cymbal stand (of course paired with a multi-clamp)

It will also fit into Sonor tom mounts, making it's positioning extremely flexible.
Sonor's 4000 series hardware is 2nd to none in its range, the bonuses of this boom arm include gearless tilter on the cymbal hinge and a quick release spring nut to hold the cymbal in place.
