Soundcraft FX 16 II

Excellent build quality as your would expect from Soundcraft. The Lexicon is much improved from the original (thankfully!) and the built in power supply saves space too. Easy to use and being the same width as the old one, simply replaced our dying 20 year old FX16. Lets hope this one lasts as long.

Most of my home audio stuff goes through this mixer. I like the analog approach and this is a pretty good mixer for that. It is rack mountable so it can be easily used for live performances. The integrated lexicon effects are very musical and I always enjoy using them.

I use it for the band, Lexicon effect very good, 3 aux for monitoring etc, sub groups for drum or vocal section. Overall very good for the price. Standard Soundcraft quality. I recommend it

I purchased this mixer to future-proof my band. I love the fact the ports are in the back so my cables aren't bending at the ends to plug into the top. Other pros are the 16 XLR channels, 4 aux outs for separate monitor mixes and separate sub outs so I can choose which channels are sent to my subs.
The only negative I would give is that the faders slide far too freely, making them easy to adjust accidentally and giving them a cheap feel. I would have preferred some more resistance on them.
The mixer fits very nicely into a Thon Rack Case 12U Live 15 RA too!

Nice simple to use mixer with some nice sounding effects.
