Sovtek 6L6WXT+ Pair

I used these for my Fender Hotrod Deluxe. This was my first time swapping out power tubes myself. Have had the tubes changed in the past but always brought it to an amp tech.
It is worth doing some research about setting the bias on the amp before purchasing replacement power tubes. Although, it is very doable with a basic understanding of electronics and a multimeter.
These tubes brought my amp back to life, restored the clarity and transients that had disappeared when using the old tubes. Very happy with the sound.

I purchased the Sovtek 6L6 valves to replace Electro Harmonix 6L6 valves in my Kustom Defender amplifier. My feeling is that there has been an impovement in comparison to the older valves ... this maybe down purely to wear and end of life. The Sovteks have been gigged twice ... excellent !

I bought these to replace the stock tubes in my Jet City 50H after one went bad. They breathed new life into an amp that I otherwise felt to be rather dull sounding. I give these two thumbs up and definitely will get them again when needed.

After reading many tube reviews I replaced the tubes in my 1970s silver face Fender Pro Reverb (tube rectifier) with the Sovtek's. Guitar - Gibson ES355 straight in with no effects amp sounds sweet and musical as ever. Very little noise from tubes even at volume. Tubes appear quite sturdy.
I'm no tube expert but I can't see why would you pay more for 6L6 tubes just because they are in a boutique branded box. - Hope this helps someone - Mike

Got these for my Hot Rod Deluxe a while back. They were fine but the amp eventually broke down and I sold it anyway. I can't blame the tubes for that, mine was a Mk1 original HRD which apparently wasn't the most reliable amp in the world. These have really shot up in price since I bought them (for obvious reasons). You would be better off with the TAD ones, and put the money saved towards a new speaker/cab for your amp. That'll be a much more noticeable change in sound!

Anyways, can't fault these (although the amp they were in did go faulty so maybe I can?).

These are very good value tubes.
I have used them in my Mesa Boogie 50/50 with fine results.
they cheaper then mesas own brand but the quality and longevity is still very good.

Bought these to replace the failing Ruby Tubes in my Peavey VK112. They sound better and feel like they'll last forever.

The were a nice replacement set.
They sound just fine, break up nicely and are pretty noisefree.

Needed a pair of matched 6L6 power tubes to replace some slowly degrading in an amp not used all the time and didn't want to get caught out. Read numerous reviews of all sorts of brands etc, but boiled down to price and these perform well and are affordable.

These are great value tube replacements for my valve amp, my amp sounds nice and clean now and I've been using them for quite a while now regularly over a year and still they sound good, I would not hesitate in getting these again or recommending them to anyone for there amp.
