Stairville CLB8 RGBW Compact LED Bar 8

I run primarily a sound company for all sorts of live music. Lights were always a bit of an afterthought until quite recently. I had replaced my 300w generic par cans with some secondhand led lights, but found them to be lacking in brightness, so I read every review and thought that a pair of these might do the job.
I wasn't disappointed! They are very quick to set up and are very bright. They will fill a 40ft trailer stage with ease. I have used them both as a standalone and with a PC based DMX set up. The case is worth a mention, as it is light and does a great job of protecting the lights. It is worth mentioning that their fixture profile was easily found on my control software.
Highly recommended.

My band had been using cumbersome, aging and very very hot par cans for our gig. We needed better... lighter, cooler, more compact.. you get the picture. My guitarist isn't a great fan of led's believing them to be less bright if admittedly cooler to work with.

He is now a true believer!! In what was arguably a compact set up, we were lit up lighter brighter and with simple but effective colour changes throughout the gig. We popped the lights onto static white to pack away and left the lights til last ( no half hour wait to avoid igniting the lighting bag!!!) and they were cool enough to load out straight away.

I bought the bundle with a great wireless footswitch, an amazing quality stand , cases and cables etc. Insanely good value and with a very pleasing small footprint ( and aerial too) so precious stage space is not compromised. We're going to get a second set in the new year to complete our set up. For the money they're wonderful value. I found some that I liked more from a design and output point of view, but they were ¤200 dearer. Like most musicians, that was a major factor in our decision. However, we are so very pleased with them. As an opening shot at LED lighting with a tight budget, I don't believe we could have done better.
