DON'T BUY THE CHEAPEST STAIRVILLE STAGE TAPE, buy this instead. This one is much better quality. The cheaper one leaves unpleasant residue, this one doesn't nearly as much. This one also has a more fabric feel to it, contrary to the synthetic one on the cheaper tape. Worth the price!

This tape tears reasonably well and sticks like you'd expect, doesn't leave a residue. It is definitely satin not matt. If you need a tape that does the job well and is relatively easy to work with I'd recommend it. If you are going to taping cables to a theatre floor or such which is painted black emulsion where you want it to be discrete under lights it is not the tape to buy as there is a sheen off it.

Luckily, the owner of the barn was just impressed with the strength of them!

They are a little too shiny and the adhesive isn't as perfectly balanced as the Tesa tapes, but they are more than adequate.
