Stairville LED PAR 64 10mm RGB silver

I bought two of these par cans so I could use them as effects lighting in my bedroom but also when I do performances, whether it be for a school, church etc.

I bought them about a month ago and I am very impressed with how bright these fixtures are and for a cheap light, the amount of features it has built-in!

The DIP switches can be a pain but luckily, I have small(ish) fingers.

Obviously the colour mixing isn't going to be perfect because the LEDs are individual diodes, not tri LEDs, for example. Still, it saves going up a ladder to change the gels every time you want a new colour! But I am impressed with how smooth it does mix the colours.

Using them with DMX is also very simple; just set the DMX addresses and you have complete control of the fixtures. The strobe looks great when coming to 'the drop' of the music.

The build quality is not the best and I'm sure it will get dented and moved about etc. but the silver casing makes it look good from a distance.

Overall, this is a very good beginner's LED fixture for simple stage work and, again, I'm impressed with the light output. Well done, Stairville!

We are a rock cover band playing the gigs medium magnitude. So far we have been borrowed light always in the dry hire . This means that double thomann smuggling , etc. Now we have 8 of these LED churns at 2 tripods in use . These are only the effect lighting. 4 more conventional burners are for general lighting , the artist used.

First of all: The cans are much brighter than you think. As mentioned many times , these things are not as bright as thomann 300/500 W bulb , but they do not have to ! Because: Each of these pitchers can represent all colors. In conventional burners hanging in front of each pot , a filter for the color. So each pot can be only one color.

But here , all headlight on request represent the same color thomann and this is very good! So strong colors like these headlights we could not reach far without bringing enstprechend many headlights. When Chase through the primary colors R , G, B each with full power , we were extremely impressed. It offers completely new design possibilities.

In addition, these cans can thomann in each color strobe ( 8 pieces are in strobe almost madness ) and thread , etc. But you have to already have a decent lighting desk ( 48 channel with us , each 2 cans same address) to the comfort of the 7 channels each access headlight. If you have that, after a little practice the operator thomann unstressful . The built- Micro is more gimmick.

And what is usually only mentioned in passing : That's not warm the parts irritated at first, because the heat of the headlight one is accustomed , but it is much more pleasant and safer headlights can touch at any time to thomann ! Even small distances to the artists are no longer as critical
