Stairville Outdoor Stage Par 12x3W Tri

I bought four of these for small summer festival use. The lanterns themselves are very well designed and built. The light output and quality is an order above previous budget LED PARs. White light is pure to the edges of the beam, and consistent throughout dimming.
The operating buttons are a little stiff, but that's the price of excellent weather protection. Fortunately I didn't suffer a downpour over this summer, but I've no doubt these will keep the water out as long as they don't end up sitting in it.
The only problem I've had is in relation to the weatherproof connectors used for these. One of the extension cables that I purchased wouldn't mate at one end. The use of non-standard weatherproof connectors adds a degree of additional complexity to rigging, but the connectors are on flying leads out of the casing, so can be changed.
I'm not really in a position to judge lifespan. With the amount of use they've had over one summer I would be bitterly disappointed if I'd had any failure - but I haven't. All LEDs are fully functional - as I would expect.
Overall, I love 'em.

I use this item exclusively for lighting a 12 square meter stage for our school drama performances. I am totally satisfied with this stage lighting. The colour palette is nearly infinite. It's just up to you to record your mix to be able to re-use exactly the same colour when you want. It's for people who feel at ease with numbers!
The various pre-set colours and effects can be very useful.
The make is excellent, it is first quality material, robust and compact.
Health and safety:The light is very bright, so children must be told to look away from the light, but that is no problem at all for them.
This stage lighting gives a totally new, professional dimension to our performances. I am glad I bought it!
For a larger stage you would need two items.

i am the proud new owner of 6 Starville Outdoor stage Par 12x3w. and have now used them on two events the have an impressive light output and very pleasing colour rendition. First impressions are a very high level of build quality. a good feature is the cabling form the back of the units where they have a power in and a power out that can daisy chain the the next unit making wiring very easy and convenient. the DMX leads are also in place for DMX in and DMX out too. control buttons big and easy as is the control display. For one job we simply used the in built slow colour fade for effects lighting and for another we used the fixed yellow colour wash to light up the high alter behind the stage at a concert in a large church. ps can't really rate lifespan as only just bought however you have to rate in order to complete the review so have put as good in anticipation of what I would expect.

These RGB lights are perfect for our use. They're simply set to three channel mode, and easily integrated into our existing light shows. The fixtures come complete with the power leads and XLR to splash proof connectors you need to be able to get your DMX signal in, You will need to purchase some cables if you want to get your DMX signal out of the other side of the light again though. This can be overcome with a DMX splitter.

The lights are wonderfully bright, really well built and sturdy. Their ability to withstand rain is perfect, and ideal for being placed along the front of an outdoor stage that may be exposed to the weather.
