Thomann Nose Flute

This is really funny to use in parties, musical games or comical shows, as it has an interesting kind of flute timbre and allows the simultaneous production of vocal and flute sounds. Not really a proper usable musical instrument, though, unless a comical or playful effect is what's intended.

The plastic is a bit flimsy, but good enough for the purpose.

Although quite easy to use, after a while it starts to become uncomfortable on the nose and tends to cause sneezing and/or nasal flow.

For the cost it's worth a try for anyone looking for musical novelties.

I actually ordered this nose flute just to reach the minimum value required for free shipping, but I sure had some fun with it. Once you've figured out how to actually play it, you can play some nice little melodies with it. I recommend looking for some videos on Youtube to get an idea of the possibilites of this instrument.

Soundwise, it is similiar to a regular flute (maybe a bit more "hollow"), but playing it is more intuitive in my opinion, so even persons who have little experience with playing instruments can learn it rather fast. This makes it an ideal little gift.

At the low price it is no surpise that the quality is rather poor. It's made of plastic and feels pretty cheap, so I don't expect it to last for a long time.
