This was announced as a new product just as my need for a pedal power supply arose.

Already owning a Mobius and a Big Sky and liking the build quality I decided to wait until the Zuma was released.

I debated getting the much smaller Ojai which was released much earlier, especially given that you can expand with further Ojais (you can do this with the Zuma too).

Deciding factors in the end were the lack of a power brick with the Zuma (Zuma just needs a standard kettle power lead) and double the outputs but without being double the price. I guess there is not so many of us that will limit ourselves to only 5 pedals either.

Anyway this is the first pedal power suppy I have owned and ultimately its not much of a new toy to play with. It looks lovely and will match your mobius - but this isnt so important if your are mounting it under your board.

I do have peace of mind however that this should cover all power requirements for the forseeable future and if it doesnt I can expand with the Ojai. And it sure beats lugging power strips and wall warts to gigs :)

It powers 14 pedals on my board without any noise. There's enough current on each outlet to be able to daisy-chain a few pedals. The automatic international power compatibility also comes in handy if you're playing abroad. Fits perfectly underneath my pedaltrain with the separately sold brackets.

I often see people complaining about the noise in their pedalboard and many other issues. I bought and used this power supply in my pedal board and never had any noise issues at all. This is a very powerful power supply, and build quality is amazing! I highly suggest this! Don't let the high price put you down! Buy this and you will never need to think it exists in your pedalboard, it simply does it job perfectly and can be easily extended with Strymon Ojai. I started with Zuma, then my board grew, and I have now added to Ojai, both are receiving their power from Zuma!

Maybe you don't feel like giving money for this, but this is one of the most important pieces of gear on my board.
Even with my wah pedal on top of the box there is not even the slightest hum or sound.
Strymon really is worth the money...

There's nothing better than this.
It's not expensive for what it does.
I've had it for a year now, never failed me once, and never failed any of my pedals. There's no other power supply I trust more than this.

The Strymon gives you a great sound and no buzz. With some power supplies you have a buzz when you use a Wah Wah, but not with this one. It’s a little more expensive, but you get a great sound

Previously i had one cheaper power supply for multiple effects, but it was daisy chain circuit and some effects were affecting other ones. And it also died in middle of gig so i started looking elsewhere. Then my eyes seen Strymon Zuma.

Using it for last year as my go-to power station for 8 different pedals(EHX, Strymon, DOD, TS, Boss, TC electronic) and can't be more happy.

There is no buzzing anywhere, build quality is amazing and all my pedals are happy with what they get. It's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth every $.

If you have money to get one, don't hesitate.
