This harmonica is well build, and feels solid in the hand - I feel confident taking it out in my bag or pocket to a picnic.
It's airtight, the sound is good, the reeds are very responsive, and it's relatively loud - it will hold it's own in a small acoustic ensemble.
It's worth noting this is in what other brands call "low D" - so it starts at D3. As such, while the low octave is very responsive, it does require a little bit of air to activate the reeds. You can’t play it quietly, and because of that the harmonica loses in subtetly. Not a harmonica for pieces with a lot of subtle dynamics.
Also worth noting the note layout is the one that is commonly used in east Asia (sometimes called, in the west, "Asian Tuning"). If you don't know that layout, worth researching it before buying as it might not be what you expect.
All in all I'm really enjoying this harmonica. It's a real pleasure to play and I highly recommend it.
