Swissonic Basic Router MKII

After 6 months using this, I have nothing to complain.
Never had any connection problem, and its great that the antennas can fold in a practical way, easy to store. I manage to pack this inside my x32 case. (there are some router models that are so unpractical to store haha!).
It was easy to install/get it working.
It already fell once or twice but still 100% working.

For the price of this item, its got lots of very useful network management features.

I was easily able to connect it to a larger network through its WAN port and give items on my sound network limited access to the internet while enforcing access rules and bandwidth limits.

The only gripe I have is that Thomann shipped the wrong UK plug adapter for it. They should have shipped item number: 350932 as the one they shipped didn't fit.

Fab, not had a single issue with this, no dropout or anything, regardless of venue size!
Only thing I'd love if it is was rack mountable, but I've found a way around this with Cable ties and an empty rack shelf!

The router is ideal for creating a wifi area around the stage allowing multiple devices to log in. ie Ipads. You can password protect it so only used by the band. Works like a dream.

I got this to use with my QU 16 so I can mix with a tablet. it is small and does the job. no need to overthink this is you are looking to connect to your digital mixer.
