I bought two of these stands, and the package felt heavy as lead when it arrived.

Having said that, I wanted a couple of really heavy duty stands. I do not have a ton of experience with cymbal stands, but I feel you can go to war with these things. I have never seen such solid stands. They sit like a couple of brute, barbarian soldiers on the ground, and it feels nothing can shake them off their feet. Will be using them for a heavy ride and crash cymbals, plus toms mounted to both. I have no doubt they will stand up to any test. The wingnuts may be the only faulty parts. Seems they sit very loosely in their casing. Hoping for the best.
