i've never owned a a double pedal but I definitely recommend this for a first one if you'r willing to spend a little more money

Great beginner double bass pedal

This was my first double bass pedal that I ever used. I had been getting into metal drumming for a while but I was limited in my playing due to only having a single pedal. I chose this pedal because Tama has a good reputation overall and this fit in my budget. It is easy to setup and feels smooth when playing. Definitely recommend.

not happy if you are a pro

dont take this pedal if you are a proffessional drummer.. the springs are very slow , lags on motion.. you need a better pedal .. not waiting much for the price .. but you cant do the job.. is only for students for my opinion

Great double pedal for beginners / intermediates

Ordered for my Alesis Command Mesh kit, works perfectly!

Easy to assemble and set up, it has the standard features, but definitely feels like a high quality pedal should, and not crazy expensive.

Changing tension and other settings is very easy. Highly recommended.

Gigged the pedal for the first time last Saturday, rock solid, nothing moved with 2 and a half hours of abuse.
The proximity screws are all quite intuitive too, the distances are as they would be on any pedal, but the tension and the drawback can be adjusted to very fine movements.
