I do not own Tama True Touch practice kit. I bought this stand to mount a couple of Tama Metalworks Effect Snares (3" depth) and an LP timbale that I converted for triggering electronic sounds and samples via Sensory Percussions and software triggers. So in total 3 pancake drums (10", 12", 14" with depth 3" or 4" respectively).
The stand works great, does not tip over, although weight balancing even with 3 light drums is important. The fact that one support leg is shorter allows for placement of a kick drum trigger (Roland KD7) in a very convenient way.
In summary, it was a bit of a gamble for my scenario but it worked pretty well.
