They are just two small (though cool looking) foam stickers, but if you find the correct spot to stick them, the effect is just enough to kill the longest overtone decay while still preserving the crack and ring of the snare. Also if used in conjunction with an Aquarian studio ring and put underneath it so the ring is rised a little (and so not in full contact with the head on it's entire surface), that makes it a little more lively while still dampening it enough so it works perfect when mic-ing..

i like these very much, just like "moon Gel" except they're cheaper and only sticky on one side which i think is better so you don't get stick dust stuck all over the top... plus!!!! Tama branding

sticks very well, reusable , and looks cute

These are rewashable and reusable. I use them in my snare and toms and they have a little dampening because that is what I like. They are not like moongel or other gel products. They muffle a little.

You get 2 for this cheap price, they're smaller than moongel but I find that's better. I suppose they don't look quite as good because they're just logos but that's the only downside I can think of.

These are small and unobtrusive. If you need to just control a little bit of overtone these are ideal. They work and they last.
