Sh! quiet amp at work

This is a first class little baby,I use it mainly for monitor speakers in a control room. Nice and quiet in operation with a good all round sound. Recommend to anyone wanting a low power unit and when matched to suitable speakers gives a very pleasing sound. I have already recommended it to others, excellent value and well constructed.

A good amp, just don't buy for theatre use!

Essentially a well built, quiet-running, good-sounding amp.

However, I bought it to use in a theatre context to power a pair of JBL Control 1s. While it's capable of doing this, it has an in-built power-saving feature, whereby it turns itself off after 5 minutes of little to no signal. It then takes about 5 - 10 seconds to turn back on again once it registers signal. While I understand later generations will have the ability to turn this feature off, at the moment this can't be bypassed. Unfortunately for my purposes this renders it unusable.

So, I'm sure for other applications it's perfectly good, just not for theatre!

I just needed a little amp for the speakers to my rehearsalroom.
Never ment to gig with it so for that use a good amp.
