I purchased the TA-1VP mainly for its autotune function for my live performances.
I'm a little dissapointed by the sound when using Autotune but it may just need to be adjusted. There are lots of parameters that can be set but did not find the manual that helpful to explain the effect of each parameter.
With autotune turned off the sound is fantastic due to the mic modelling and input voice type selection.
Overall I'm very pleased this vocal processor and would deffinitley reccomend it to anyone peforming live with or without the autotune.

Perfect pitch correction
LydF 26.02.2024
I wanted to run autotune on my live vocals and every playback tech was recommending an Apollo and separate macbook just for the vocals. That setup would've cost thousands so I was incredibly happy to find the Tascam TA-1VP which solves my problems! I much prefer using hardware than software as it's more reliable and the autotune sounds very natural on this. I've previously used a Zoom V3 and it would much more of a "cher" tone. The TA-1VP can also be controlled by midi via Ableton Max for Live but the presets are all manual and difficult to navigate. The instructions are very minimal and I had to do a lot of my own research.
Overall highly recommend for some light pitch correction in a live setting!
