I cannot speak on behalf of people owning guitars other than Taylor because I heard that they might not fit on every instrument but as far as an upgrade from the stock pins the difference is quite noticeable. The tone became warmer and the overtones sound more rounded than with the standard ones. I did not expect it to make a HUGE change but I heard a difference as soon as I strum that first chord. It's not a huge change but each string is warmer and rings out better so it adds up to quite a nice and inexpensive upgrade!

Exactly what you'd expect

I bought it for my Taylor 214ce as an upgrade. Exactly what you'd expect to get. Could be in the guitar as default or sold as parts for slightly cheaper.

These wooden pins fit Taylor Guitars perfectly. They look great and are a definite visual improvement over the standard plastic pins.
I honestly didn't notice any difference in tone, which was good because the guitar sounded great already.
