Hmmmm, not what I expected

Beeing a great fan of the first small '1 button' ditto looper, I hoped this to be 'it'

First off, it works like it should....most of the time! I encountered a few glitches.
- Encountered a device ' hang/crash' where I had to power it off.
- As the the looper is at the end of my chain...I noticed a hum in my signal , also the solution was ...power off/ on.

I updated the firmware wich is really easy to do. Haven't had the glitches anymore, but still not confident with the device to take it out live!

The fx part of the pedal are kinda cool, but the fade out and the tape stop should be configurable so that you can choose for how long they will fade/stop , kinda useless in a song the way they are now.

The device ain't ' bad' , but it could be better!

Very good sound quality, but not solid function, and lacking many features
Looper sucker 03.02.2021
My ideal looper would probably have the basic functionality of the discontinued Digitech Jamman Stereo,
BUT with the following major updates:
* Sound quality on par with TC Electronics loopers
* High performance WiFi file transfer to/from PC or Mac.
* Dedicated tempo adjustment BPM
* Possibility to use Aux, Instrument and Mic input simultaneously, with
separate volume controls
* Soft and totally quite start/stop switches: Using a mic, the loud clicking gets ridiculous....

While the TC Ditto*4 feels rather nice, and gives a good first impression of quality, software bugs with stochastic volume changes , and
filetransfer incompatible with several Mac OS versions, with very very dysfunctional support, makes it a not so good pick after all....

If these things would have worked flawlessly, I would still badly miss:
the 200 memory slots of the Jamman Stereo, instead of 2
the headphones out of the Jamman Stereo.
