The quality of this unit is superb when it comes to sound and construction. The unit is really 3 independent flashbacks, so each switch controls an independent delay unit. The tap tempo affects the active units, and the routing is controlled by a small switch on the top right.
Unfortunately, every change you do to each delay is forgotten as soon as you turn off that bank, that means that if you tweak any of the parameters (tap tempo, feedback, anything) it will be forgotten right away if you turn off that preset and then turn it on right away. This may or may not be a problem, but certainly render the unit a bit more difficult to use in certain live situations where you may need to make little adjustments or synchronise the tempo between the different banks, which means a lot of switching toggling to set the right delay bank to save them all. The interface could have been simpler, on the other end the unit is very flexible and sounds awesome, and you can totally do Brian May style of sounds!
Recommended if you do ambience, or already have a primary delay unit, even like the classic flashback itself.
