Great piece of gear

The Tech 21 Fly Rig 5 v2 is an amazing is an amazing piece of gear. I used it connected to the guitar amp, the PA and the effect loop return of the guitar amp, and always got reliable a nice sound. My favorite is the choice of connection to the PA in the small venues I play. Kept my amp at home and got the sound I was expecting once you set the parameters in the Fly Rig. It weights nothing (compared to the amp), and to me was very useful and reliable. Before considering the tone is not good, read the instructions !

OMG!

I own 60+ effect pedals. Never liked the multi-effect units and processors! Bought this one out of curiosity... And it blew my mind.
Easy to dial in the sound you like! Small, but very powerful!
Highly recommend for people on the road!

I'm using the FlyRig for amplified harmonica playing, together with a Bulletini mic.

The sound is great, the unit is very small and easy to transport.
The manual includes different presets, helping to explore the different sounds possible with the FlyRig. This is very useful in the beginning.

I am not using the plexi part of the unit, as the sound is very distorted. I assume it is more suitable to for Rock/Metal guitarists.

I am a bit unsure about the sound of the speaker simulation, right now I am not using it. It also is not present on the XLR output, so if you plan to hook up the FlyRig to a PA, better get used to the sound without the speaker simulation.

Excellent analog multi effect
Gossha 29.11.2020
Great analog sound for direct recording. The only drawback is that it is difficult to level clean and distortion. To be clear, the distortion must be set to 0.1, practically at the very beginning where it catches. That's the only way to keep the sound even as possible, and the downside is that distortion at such a low level doesn't sound as good as it would sound if you put it on louder. Interestingly, version 1 had the same problem and they did not solve it. Everything else is great, I have no complaints.
