I am using this mic for live and studio on my snare and it's sounding amazing.
pros:
- very good sounding
- robust

I bought this mic to use primarily for floor tom.
It works really well. lots of bottom end and very good clarity.
I was using a Sennheiser e904 but the telefunken has blown it away.
Different price point I know but I'm very happy with it.
Also works well at the rear port of a Cajon.!
Thumpingly good.

very clear robust sound on snare, very stable mic, however the metal bracket does not fit on every snare.

Ein Snaremikrofon für Profis mit Zubehör

auf der Suche nach einem professiollen Snaremikrofon, dass den Anforderungen nach Roadtauglichkeit und "modernen" Sound gerecht wird, bin ich über das Telefunken M80SH gestolpert. Erstmal ist die Verarbeitung absolut professionell; alles aus Metall! Dann aber der Sound... kein Vergleich zum Beta/SM57 oder Audix i5; allenfalls das SM7 kommt so ungefähr in die Nähe der Audioqualität dieses Mikrofons! Zugegeben: das Mikro muss natürlich auch mit der Snare harmonieren. Klingt diese von Hause aus schonmal sch...e, kann das M80 den Sound auch nicht mehr zu Bonbon machen. Ich persönlich finde den Preis absolut gerechtfertigt.
