Very nice sounding percussion which I bought to use on top of my hi-hat or in combination with cajon. It's very light and produces mellow sound when played by hands. Hi-hat gets an interesting texture when played closed or stepped. Definitely expanded my library of the acoustic sounds.
FYI - the picture for this item is not Pangi seeds (dated 14th July 2019).

This is my favourite among the Terré shakers: its sound is not as aggressive as the juju beans and it has a watery and exotic quality, but it is loud enough to be heard. I bought the shakers with the purpose of modifying the sound of the snare drum and cymbals ? the most effective result is obtained when placing it over the hi-hats and the left foot is used to keep time. The ankle shakers have the right size for this purpose: bracelet shakers are too small to make themselves heard and a bigger shaker would be too heavy for the hi-hat. The shakers are carefully crafted and surely there?s a lot of manual work involved and I wonder how they can be sold so cheap. The image of the pangi seeds ankle shaker on the Thomann website is not correct: it shows the juju beans ankle shaker. If you want to know how the pangi seeds look you must refer to the bracelet shaker.

Handy for recording and live instances.

Solid product, worth while for any percussionist looking to add more to their live gigs as an ankle shaker, or for recording, played by the hand or attached to another stick shaker to create a variety of sounds.

Nice Percussion

I bought this ankle shaker to use alongside djembe, but I found this more useful as a percussive instrument for recordings (by recording separately). As well I tried to experiment and use it on cymbals as a sort of demfer/shaker stuff, and it sounded pretty good as well.
sadly original product looks bit different than in a picture provided in the description, but it is still usable and awesome sounding piece of gear for drummer or percussionist.
the durability of this shaker is not really impressive, but it depends on how you will use it. The connections of pieces are not perfect, but it is easily repaired so there is no big problem because of it.

not the best, feels flimsy and the cord broke soon after purchase...
