Terre Djembe Africa Style II 65cm

I absolutely love my djembe which I ordered purely for the look as the skin hung down, as well as its lovely deep tone. I had to do a tutorial on how to tighten the skin when I got it as it was really loose but got a lot of satisfaction through doing this myself and 'McGuinty' as I affectionately call him now sounds superb. I play in an African Drumming Band and this drum has served me well in all environments. Only down point is the sheer weight as we stand and play with a harness but I can't seem to find any lighter djembes that haven't had their skins chopped back which is a shame as I would give this company much more business if they did this. I also had to sand the skin quite a bit when it arrived as I was cutting my hands playing it. Excellent now though. Would recommend this to anyone. Beautiful drum :-)

ohh well, it's a very good djembe that one of the best in terms of price + quality I ordered on this website.
This is very good quality djembe is made. He had beautiful skin, which gives excellent sound for solos and for the rhythmic patterns. I am very glad to hear that sound when I take the hands to play this drum.
He has a high and clear slap. Distinct and light tones. And powerful and booming bass. While the bass is still not such as bass djembe. But this decent bass. Although I would have carried it over to a solo instrument.
