Before I didn't pay attention but temperature and humidity levels in the place you live are not to be neglected(and not only because of the guitars), especially now when some of us are 90% of the time there. Because of this product I also bought humidifier to keep normal levels in my flat and this actually improved the tuning stability on my cheap Les Paul copy. This TFA Digital Thermo-Hygrometer worked like a charm for whole two years until the battery was empty, I was surprised considering it's price. But when I tried to open the battery compartment it was very stiff. After 10 mins of unsuccessful attempts, I just brute-forced it but something broke there. After that I wasn't able to put a new battery there.

Shortly, it's a good and accurate product but the battery compartment needs to be fixed.
Although I think £8.60 for two years of well working product it's fair.
