Well - 4 gigs in - and these little chaps are doing very well indeed. I use them with a pair of Peaveys Pro subs (passive) running at 500 watts RMS per side.
Now - I think the amp may be a bit too powerful for these even taking the subs into account - but I have not had any issues yet. I play in a 4 piece rock band on the usual 'pub circuit' and there is more than enough wallop. The vocals cut through lovely - great tone - nice balance - spot on really.
Now, I wouldnt bother with these without subs - if you are in a rock band or similar they will NOT have the 'oomph' you need - there is bass for sure - but not that proper low down bass that makes everything exiting - forget tryin' to but the bass drum through these.
As satellites - they are brilliant - and they look the nuts as well - impressive build quality.
We were using a pair of 15 inch Peaveys before - but this sub and CL110 combination knocks the old Peaveys for six.
Cons? woulda been handy to have parallel inputs perhaps? Oh - and the top-hats are tight on the poles - but that MAY be my sh*tty old poles?
