Let?s start with the obvious, it?s an inexpensive cable a 1.5 metre XLR cable to ?? jack for under £3.00.
Anyone wanting hand-soldered studio quality, top quality components and the like will be disappointed.
I bought this to run a microphone directly into unbalanced ?? jack inputs, such as an old 4-track recorded and also into and 3.5mm PC mic input via an adaptor.
It?s mostly been stuck in the home study/studio which I must advise it?s the most tidy.
I usually have to set down quickly so cables here tend to get twisted, yanked, trapped under chair legs, stepped on, throw in boxes in a hurry.
In short it?s already not had a happy life but it still reverts to a natural loop when attempting to coil it and hasn?t picked up and crackles or sound quality issues.
You have to review it taking its price into consideration and on value for money it?s another total win. I don?t see it still being here in 5 years time after the abuse it?s going to get from me and neither should I expect it to and when it?s time finally comes I?d likely replace it with the same.

TLDR
Another bargain price, decent cable just don?t expect the world on a shoestring budget.

Never had any issues with these cables, they are well made and do the job just fine. You can't bother to make then yourself for this price.

I am new to this sort of equipment so can only say that while I am impressed by the sound the system has given me. I have nothing to compare it to.
