A safety pin that holds the XLR end inside the connector once got stuck so I had to remove it with some pliers and a lot of force. If you plan on using it on the stage, where reliability is key, I would advise a higher-quality multicore. But for the studio, where you just lay it down and forget about it, the quality is good enough.
