This is a 4 panel 4foot high clear Perspex drum-shield with 3 hinges. Enough for in front of a 4piece drum kit. Perfect for providing basic sound isolation between instruments; namely - trying to prevent the drums from bleeding into other instruments microphones . Firstly, the panels are well made, with smooth edges and well cut grooves. Secondly, the hinges appear to be robust and strong enough for the job. Thirdly, the instructions are actually useful. The words & (more importantly) pictures were not many or elaborate in content but they conveyed all that you needed to know in order to assemble the shield successfully. And the most important line was - USE LUBRICATION when attaching the hinges to the panels. I was dreading putting the drum shield together because of bad experiences with screens from other manufacturers but this screen was quite easy to assemble. It only took about 30minutes from start to finish. Built; it is solid and stable and then it can be folded flat (if you have read the instructions properly)! As with most drum screens, it is not light: approximately 20kg.
A well made drum screen that is very good value compared to its competitors.
