Satisfactory choice for Roland FP10
AramMinass 07.05.2023
I recently bought a pair of headphones for my Roland FP10, and I have mixed feelings about them. While they have some great features, there are also a few drawbacks that have affected my overall experience.

Firstly, the sound quality of the headphones is good and satisfactory for practicing. I've been able to hear all of the notes and nuances of my playing, and I haven't noticed any distortion or interference. However, the headphones don't go very loud, which can be a bit frustrating at times when you need higher volume levels to hear yourself over other noises.

Secondly, the headphones aren't super comfortable. I've found that the pressure on my ears can become quite heavy and uncomfortable after extended periods of use, which can be a bit of a problem if I'm practicing for long periods of time. I'd recommend taking regular breaks to avoid any discomfort.

However, the headphones do a good job of blocking out external noises, which is particularly useful if you're practicing in a noisy environment or trying to focus on your playing without distractions.

Overall, these headphones have their pros and cons. While the sound quality is good and the noise cancellation is impressive, the headphones can be uncomfortable and aren't always loud enough (with Roland FP 10). If you're looking for headphones for practicing, these could be a good option, but be prepared for some discomfort after extended use.

Budget monitors
Azzogat 20.02.2022
It's been almost a year. These things have been used mostly by my 6-7yo son. They've taken quite the beating and they survive to this day. Looks like they'll last a while.

Sound is as expected for this price. Mediocre, not particularly colored but not flat either. Output levels are good.

Comfort is pretty bad. Feels like hard plastic pressing on your ears. Which is exactly what it is, bar the super-thin padding.

Quality is average. Like I've said before, it's quite sturdy but it feels and looks cheap ( and it actually is cheap .. guess that figures ).

Fro drumming headphones: just fine!
Bob Katsionis 31.03.2021
Got this pair of cans as an extra headphone set for the drummer.
The sound is a bit mid-ranged but once I used it,found out that it highlights the mid information, crucial to the drummer to hear whats going on and play correctly.
Nothing fancy here, price tag is as always great, so you get this one without many regrets. If your drummer has higher expectations, tell him to bring his own "pro" one next time.

Dont know about durability, it has to be tested through time

headphone acquired for keyboard practice

acquired for electronic piano, but increasingly also used for other instruments and CD.

over-ear closed design, so other people in the house also have a life ;-)

Fair for price
Jean-Claude Van Damme 05.09.2022
A nice round sound - not for monitoring, obviously, but pleasant enough for a musician to want to keep playing. It can get pretty loud without distortion.
Its light weight borderlines on flimsy, but that's ok I guess. The jack adapter fits firmly enough, desipte its chinese outlook, so no problem there.
My only complaint is comfort: it presses its hard speaker covers against the ears, which can get painful after a couple of hours.
But hey, 20 euros !

Great with some flaws
Pianonerd 26.12.2019
The bass is amazing, and the quality of the 2 earpieces limits the sound to your ears giving you an overall excellent sound, the treble could be better (the headphones should be used while playing piano or listening to only instrumental music) in fact when you use it as a normal type of headphones you would be a little bit disappointed. For me personally they aren’t as comfortable, the main piece is a little “hard to work with”. The earpieces are great, they isolate the sound to your ears giving you a great experience. Also big shoutout to the cable length, it’s like 2meters and I can roam through my room keeping them attached to my pc. In overall a good product.

Got it in a set, but happy with it.
zefinho 06.10.2018
Had I not gotten them in a set, I would probably have bought better / more expensive headphones.
Still I am very pleased with them. I use them for playing piano and listening to music. Not amazing, but very good sound and reasonable isolation from the earmuffs. They are sturdy and if you need unexpensive headphones and don't have high demands they're a good bargain.
They sit quite confortable on the head and come with a 6,35mm adapter which isn't very good, a bit flimsy. They come with a fixed cord and 3,5mm plug.

Nice headphones
TimeCode 25.01.2019
Got it in bundle with millenium mps-150 and for that use they are awesome. I also use them in my studio for recording vocals and acoustic because they are closed back headphones that provide small amoud of noise. Sound is good but for mixing and mastering if you plan to use headphones I would look in higher grade, but if on budget they are perfectly good.
