Bought these when I got a proper desk for my studio & upgraded my monitors.

Its hard to appreciate what they do if you've never had them before, but take them away & you'll understand the difference right away. They wont sort out a bad room.. but they will improve clarity by 'decoupling' - which basically cuts out a ton of energy rattling through your desk. Its a good product with a bit of adjustment available in the angles provided.

I'm happy anyway & cant see myself buying more expensive sponge anytime soon. Does the job & does it absolutely fine.

I've had these for a few years now through two sets of monitors, the first being a gigantic pair of KRK Rokit 8's, and these held them up with no problems. Now I've got a pair of ADAM A7Xs, and similarly these help to add that little bit of acoustic separation from your speakers and desk or speaker stands, which in turn gives you a tighter bass sound with less unwanted sympathetic resonation. Another nice feature of these is the way you can adjust the angle with the extra bits of foam, which was very useful for me as my speakers sit above my ear line when I'm sitting down, so that ability to angle the speakers down is helpful.
These are an absolute must have for any home studio, especially for less than ¤20! The only slight problem with these was the Thomann logo badges on the front, which came off and I'm not sure what happened to them. But this is a very minor detail and they still do exactly what you need them to.
