J
A very good earmic, great for "wireless busking"!
Jijital 13.02.2018
I was looking for a setup for doing what I call "wireless busking (in order to avoid carrying also a mic and a stand)" and after the usual great advice from Thomann, I got this earmic, together with "the t.bone TWS 16 PT 863 MHz" wireless system. I connected the wireless system to a 12V, 7A battery and... Voilà! I connect these to a Roland AC-33 amp, together with my acoustic guitar and once you adjust the proper volumes and gains, for small roads, or square is fantastic! Some people don't believe that you are playing live, because the setup is quite unique, but when they get close, they realize that it's a great (I think) idea! I also use this earmic for recording and with the proper EQ and compression, it delivers! You have just to be careful with the cord, which is very thin, but handled in the proper way, it works beautifully!

Can't go wrong with this!
David4323 03.07.2014
I've bought four of these on the recommendation of Thomann, and have been delighted with them all. Despite being very lightweight, the mic quality is splendid and they are tougher than you might expect. Various types of connectors are available. Although it is a one-ear fitting (as opposed to the two-ear spectacle type), a careful fitting to the ear holds it in place very well. Just take a little time to see how the shape fits with the ear and, if necessary, do a little gentle and judicious bending of the wire. Treat it with care and don't rush it! The wind shields are cute, but unfortunately get lost in no time. Replacement wind shields are available but as they are a rather specialist size, they are not very cheap. In summary, if you're looking for a great-looking and great-performing head mic, give this a go!

P
Excellenet Mic
Paul2843 24.04.2014
We got this with a package deal with the recieved / transmitter pack.

Comes with a handy carry case a couple of foam wind shields which we quickly lost.

The mic was purchased for our church setup to replace a lapel type mic and it made a massive difference. The clarity of the speach was so much better that a basic lapel mic and you can turn up the volume on it alot before you end up with feedback.

It does fit certain peoples ears better than others. We have had a couple of people with small ears who had a hard time wearing it but majority of people who have used it have though it worked well.
