Okay sounding but the cable arrangement....
Paul592 31.12.2020
Unfortunately these headphones are the dreaded "one wire is 4 times the length of the other" ones. Not sure if theres an actual name for this but having to loop one of them round your neck feels just horrible. Also if something pulls on the cable then all the force goes into one earbud. Whoever invented this system needs to be found, and tortured. I want it banned worldwide.

I know why there isn't a picture of these with the cable fully unwound, becasuse nobody would buy them.

Other than that extreme annoyance, these sound decent to me. The bass is pushed a little too much and the highs lack clarity but at least they were cheap. If you can figure out a comfortable way to have a cable pulling on the back of your neck all night then you might enjoy them.

EDIT: Just tried using them as headphones for my phone and they are as stupid looking and feeling as all these types of cables are.

As earphones okay, as in ear monitors, not so great
Anonymous 22.07.2014
These are definitely a budget in ear monitor in both price and performance. I wasn't expecting a lot from them, but other t.bone gear delivers really well so I was hopeful they'd be usable in an emergency.

As a bass player, these weren't great for me at all as I just couldn't get a good seal in my ear canal which is essential to maintain the bottom end. The silicon tips weren't a good fit and even when in place, don't provide much in the way of isolation or noise-cancelling.

Our singer has used them once or twice and they're okay if all you need is to hear your voice a bit more clearly and at a slightly lower volume.

If you're a singer on a tight budget then these could work for you, but I would recommend spending as much of your IEM budget as you can on quality phones as the difference between these budget ones and, for example, Shure SCL-3, is vast.

Decent for the price.
ycycyc 17.01.2018
Bought these for the purpose of general listening. Just needed some low priced headphones untill I can buy a better pair. I've had a positive experience with other products from t-bone (microphones) and thought that these headphones might be quite good compared to others in the price range.

The build quality seems alright, the earpeaces fit well enough, and the pouch is pretty neat as well.

My main problem with this product is that the frequency response on these is terrible for recreational listening, because the low end is super exagerated and in return, the audio sounds super muddy and is just lacking clarity.

I'll have to admit that I have not owned earphones marketed as in-ear monitors, and I can see how the boosted bass can be (and most probably is) a positive thing in order to hear the bass when you're on stage and everything is super loud.

For general listening - I would consider something else, unless you think that more bass equals better earphones.

Nothing Exceptional

I bought this pair of little headphones to have it as a backup for my DJ Sets in case something weird happens to my normal DJ Headphones. You get what you pay in that small price. Not special sound. The thing that attracted me is the really nice and small bag. Very convenient for storage and transfer.

Breathtaking

I've read people complain about... well basically everything about these earphones. But seriously, they're less than a lunch! They sound absolutely amazing when played within reasonable loudness (there is some buzz in the padding when there's too much bass, I guess). Not especially soundproof but quite comfortable to wear. Also, I love the cute little pouch :-)

Budget but does a good job
Anonymous 05.04.2016
The key with any good noise cancelling earphone is that it fits your ear properly.
These fit mine well so as a result it's all good. I wear these when recording drums but I also pair them with vic firth ear protectors to make absolutely sure everything is gone.

One thing with cheap earphones is that you take a risk that they'll have a bad sound. No worries here though, I'm very happy with the frequencies I get.
nice little case too so you can shove it in your bag and not worry about them getting wrapped around everything else in there.

Neat little set.
Anonymous 17.08.2016
While not the best, with my small ears doesn't fit in as well but it's great for what it is. The sound could be a bit better in my opinion but hey! Look at what your paying for it and stop complaining!

I used this in a live situation for a venue of around I dunno 1000 people and I used it with a behringer x32 in-ear setup. And I have to say it did it's job. If my ears weren't as small I would of been able to hear a bit better since the sound is really quite decent. Unless you make tons of money gigging around I wouldn't invest in something more expensive when this does the job just well.

Other band members bought other brands and they kept complaining about stuff(likes high's and low's) but I had no issues what so ever so t.Bone for the win! I would consider upgrading to one of the more expensive models if given the opportunity.

Recommend it!

t.bone headphone review
rammstein 11.02.2014
These are excellent headphones for the price they are really loud and cancel out almost all exterior noise and the sound quality is quite good but the headphones really irritate your ears at times if you use the double buds and the casing is quite large so rubs against the outside of your ears allot, also they often pressurize wrong in your ear and you have to mess around sorting that out quite allot, but i do like the little gig bag it comes with they never tangle up inside of that, but apart from the rubbing and over pressurization they work fine and are better than others i have bought.

Designed for stage?
Pötty 04.05.2021
The earplugs are so uncomfortable for me, I cant have them in my ears for longer periode of time. The given accessories which could make it more comfortable by changeing the earplug size, not matchning. Its cheap, may be comfortable for smebody else, but you get what you pay for sounding-wise.
