God for that price

I use it for instruments.
When comparing it with the Shure SM57, I didn't find any big difference, but for this price it is satisfactory and of good quality.

Surprisingly Good for the Price

I recently added the t.bone MB75 Beta to my iRig/Android tablet portable recording setup, mainly for vocals and spoken word. Compared to my several Rode M1s, it's surprisingly competitive, especially considering it's about half the price. It's proved to be sturdy and reliable, handling transport without any issues.

Sound quality is where the MB75 Beta surprised me the most. It's clear and balanced, making it tough to distinguish from the more expensive M1s. Its slim design hasn't just been great for portability; it's also made it a breeze to use with different setups.

One downside is it doesn't come with a pop filter, but that was easily fixed with a separate purchase from t.bone, and honestly, it might not even be necessary for everyone. Given its performance and price point, I'm thinking of picking up another. It's that good and definitely great value for anyone looking to save without sacrificing quality.

Solid for any studio and/or live application

I bought this microphone mostly to see how it would compare to the original MB75 and to have a super cardioid mic for my snare, should I perhaps encounter a drummer who beats his hihat like it owes him money.

Needless to say, It's exactly what you'd expect from the sm57 beta. Crisp top end, solid snap, not that much in terms of capturing the thump on the snare though, but that could be poor mic positioning on my part. It's 40€, it's a no brainer. Grab it!

Not for vocals, good for amps and acoustic

Not much to say actually. This is a good microphone if you want to mic your guitar amp ou acoustic instruments (maybe not winds).
It has a poor isolation so every touch on the mic is heard on the speakers. The foam inside is also very insuficiente. If you want to sing through it you must be like 25cm (10 in) otherwise every little wind is picked up like a storm.
Still, not a bad choice for your instruments and perhaps with a external windscreen it may be great to be sang through.

Excellent alternative without the price tag.

Compares extremely well to the industry standard microphone it is obviously aping. The microphone is however no light weight and stands up on it's own . I use this microphone in both live sound and studio applications and it works extremely well. I am also aware of other live sound engineers preferring this range of mics over the other brand, due to the high quality and low cost. The microphone comes with a sturdy carry case and mic clip. I will definitely be buying more from the t.bone range in future.

Sweet sounding

A surprisingly good and sweet sounding microphone in the upper regions. Solidly built, good case and clip, and even a space to put the stand adapter in the case. I can't fault it and it's as good as name brands costing more as far as I can tell, which I have had previously.

Bargin for the money

I bought this as i broke my SM57 and wanted a cheaper alternative, i mostly use it on snare drums and guitar cabs the MB75 Beta has less of a proximity effect that helps when micing snares as it makes them less boxy than a SM57 and the hyper cardiod polar pattern means there is less hi hat spill.

I will certainly be getting more of these when i can there great!
