Well built, but wrong size

I don't know if I got the wrong one, but it seems like it fit better on a cello. It fit my bass if I used the inner strings (A,D) to fasten it, but it was not long enough to be mounted on the outer strings.

I bought the T Bone Ovid CC100 for mounting on the double bass.
When the bundle, the specific accessories exist for the assembly.
The accessories that are provided are easy to attach the strings of the bass so micofoon stays securely in place.
