Used this table stand combined with the GM 5212 for streaming. I really like the microphone, this table stand seems like the perfect accessory but the XLR connector in the back failed spectacularly because of a plating issue, a visual inspection showed serious issues with the nickel plating on all contacts with the bare brass visual and that is giving heavy noise and static at the slightest touch, rendering the set almost unusable. Having never experienced an XLR connector failing or seen connector plating this bad, this experience shocked me a little. I found no manufacturer identification markings on the connector. I guess Thomann selected this connector for its extremely small flange as replacements will never fit this table stand.
Since I really like the microphone but do not trust the connector supplier that made it into the desk stand, I decided not to replace it but to mod the table stand to fit a cable gland leading to a new Neutrik connector. But I believe a bad review for this failure is more than justified.
