Thomann 12H Ocarina C3 light green

I got this recommended by a friend, he told me "you won't believe it's made of plastic".

He was right, its sound is very close to a good ceramic ocarina. Add indestructibility and a very comfortable rugged texture, and you get exactly what I was looking for: a powerful, well-sounding ocarina that I can take everywhere without fear.

It is a bit on the breathier side, but one gets used to it pretty quickly.

This is a wonderful ocarina at a great price point. I'm only taking a star bc it's not perfectly in tune - which is a real shame in a plastic instrument. But it doesn't bother me too much. All in all it's a great instrument and I recommended it to some friends already. Might come back to buying this in different colours (hoping maybe the tuning will be a bit more precise) but this is really all you need. Especially if this should be your first Ocarina. It's got a nice weight and solid feel to it. This will be a traveling companion for a long time.
