Thomann Adaptor Euro - UK

Very strange construction that does not seem to be robust and even safe. I just went to Tesco and bought me a good one instead.

I ended up using a different adapter i had at home becasue i found the build quality of this to be poor. I was excited to see it came with the order but It didint tighten down on the other connection very well.

I found it very difficult to attach this adaptor to the existing Euro plug. In the end I had to cut some plastic away in order to get it to start sliding into position.

The opening for where the plug is meant to fit in is not big enough for my use. The plug of my electronic drum kit was too big to fit inside this adapter with its small opening. I had to break it to fit it in, then decided it was too dangerous and ordered another type instead.

It was added at 0 cost to my purchase. Thank you! But really I prefer to use a power strip with the standard European sockets: much more reliable. The quality is poor but I think it is ok for home usage; not for professional studio or stage performance.

It is a lovely gesture for the Thomann team to supply this adaptor, but I'm sorry to say it is not compatible with the Yamaha power supply.
On Ebay, I managed to source the correct Yamaha slide-in part to convert the Power Supply to UK 3 square pin spec., but this was an additional cost for me. Might be worth Thomann sourcing these UK slide-ins, and supplying them with the gear?

Great idea, however while I have managed to use this adapter to power 2 12volt transformers that came with the product (TC Helicon GXT and Behringer HA400), I had to cut down the sides of the 2 pin plug, then tape up with electricians tape to make it fit into the adapter. This might scare some people - but on a positive note nothing has gone bang here yet!

If you dont mind wielding a Stanley Knife and are good with electricians tape then you'll be fine - I mean Thomann supplied them free to me with the product anyway, so you cant complain too much.

It was a good idea to include an adaptor but sadly it didn't fit the product it came with ! I think its good how it would screw onto the other lead thought.

It seems like a useful solution, except this fit the power supply I was given incredibly poorly. It just popped off. I can't complain too much though since it was free. I would have preferred a simple plug in adaptor,
