Great 16 hole chromatic harmonica
Crimbo 13.11.2020
After attempting and failing to find a decent second hand Hohner ( they never work properly without major work), I bought one of these and was pleasantly surprised by bith the quality and the sound. It doesn’t have a fantastic tone but for the price it is much better than expected and does seem to be improving with use. Very happy.

It's great for the money
Zemgalietis 03.02.2018
It is my first chromatic, and I use it for learning and playin at home
It took some blowing time to warm up reeds for the lowest notes, but now those registers work perfectly even if lightly breathed.
Overall it has good tembral qualities, and pleasant tonal balance. Sliding bar works smoothly and silently.

I certainly would recommend this product. But keep in mind, that it could take some time and patience to make this baby sing its whole diapason for the first time. So do not take it directly from the post office straight to the gig. But after taming it, it will work perfectly even if unused for monts.
If not those 'curing hours' at the very beginning, I would give all 5 stars. But as I mentioned, I am not a pro, so maybe that 'curing time' is just a norm for any harp.

Love it!
Mcauthor 14.12.2021
I bought a Thomann Chromatic 64 Harp just over five weeks ago and I have been playing it regularly since I received it. I am delighted to have chosen this harmonica because of its nice, rich sound that I can apply to playing country/blues, classical, jazz and some Irish traditional such as hornpipes, jigs, barndances, etc.

At first, when playing the lower notes it felt a bit sluggish but now that the harp is "broken in", so to speak, I find it gracefully responsive. For the price the quality of this harp is difficult to beat.

Would I recommend it to my best friend? Definitely - without hesitation.

I
Superb customer service
Ian284 08.08.2013
I don't know much about chromatic harps so my scores are somewhat subjective. What I do know about is customer service - and I have to say that Thomann were excellent in this area. One slight issue with the harp (due as much to my inexperience as anything else) was dealt with very rapidly and efficiently, to the extent that a personal phone call was able to offer all the advice needed to resolve the problem. Well done Thomann.

I'm positively blown away by the quality and finish of this product. I wasn't expecting this much of a "home brand", but thomann has made themselves for me with this one. Will recommend!

good for the cash
Laplayantonio 01.03.2020
it's a good product considering the price, but... I ended up buying a 2nd hand Hohner: the higher notes were VERY difficult to hit, hard to get as I'm not a full time harmonist...
EDIT: I had to open it and work it out a little bit... And yes, I got it to work the way I wanted; of course, if u want to go serious, get the Hohner... ;)

A Decent Budget Chromatic Harmonica
luftmietze 10.12.2022
A good quality chromatic harmonica that appears to be a clone of one of the earlier Hohner Chromonika models. Like all Chromatic harmonicas it should be warmed up before playing or the wind-saver valves will stick. It came in tune and the slider functions perfectly. It offers excellent value for money particularly for someone wanting a budget 64 note (4 octave) harmonica. As a hobby pianist, who wanted a bit more range than the standard blues harmonica offers, this was the perfect purchase for me.

Thomann cromatic64 harp
Markku59 30.12.2014
Never had nor played a chromatic harp before, so it's nice learning something new. By depressing the knob you can also get sharp/flat notes, so the whole chromatic scale is there for playing melodies. The harp feels sturdy and big in your hands, it's easy to handle. Since I haven't played the more expensive harps, can't really compare the sound with them, but what I hear I think that this instrument sounds absolutely great. Comes with a hard case. Good value for the price

C
Surprisingly good for the money
Chipmonk78 29.07.2024
Bought as a temporary replacement after dropping a Hohner Chromatic and breaking the plastic casing, (do’h!) this was intended as a stop gap for a few gigs. It did the job very well, and in fact played better than the harmonica it replaced. Lower octave is excellent, so great for jazz standards!

4 octaves, plays well and decent tone. Nicely packaged, and after a few months use, still in tune and no sticking reeds. Well worth the money.
