Perfect for the price
Shaunthedog 06.08.2018
I bought this as I am planning to join more ensembles at university - I play low brass (valved) and wanted to play in more stuff.

It arrived well protected in near perfect condition with a few tiny imperfections (which would likely be unnoticable from a small distance).

From playing it for a couple of hours, it has a great sound. Very bright, but I was expecting that from a small bore, and thus it's perfect for the job in jazz but not as fitting for orchestras and concert bands as large bores.

The slide does make a fair bit of noise (including after a first bath) but hopefuly that will go away in a few days/weeks of breaking in (or with a little more lubrication). Even so, it's certainly smooth enough to play comfortably.

No problems with resistance in the air flow, and the high register plays softly surprisingly well compared with the lower register, and doesn't lose any of the lyricism. And of course, it's a trombone, it's loud/brassy when you loosen the tap!

All in all (TL;DR), it's exactly what I was expecting for the price (if not more), and I would highly recommend it!

Bought for performance
Gaweseb 03.05.2021
I’m having a Yamaha student model that I don’t want to use in public during performance as I sit next to euphoniums who for some reason are likely to hit my instrument though no ding yet, thankfully. I thought to get a cheaper one also due to high dust at funerals. Slide is not as smooth as the yamaha, but still decent. It has a bit of sound on the slide, hope it will smoothen with time. It’s a bit heavy even for an adult or I’m just used to the smaller yamaha on which I practice regularly. Otherwise good quality for that price.

Good value for money
Anonymous 13.10.2016
It has a good sound in every position and all registers.
The material seems to be ok though someone told me these intruments don't have a good oldhood
I usually play big band and folk music as a hobby, nothing professional
I'm happy with it

Buen trombón calidad-precio
CAPITAENCIAM 10.12.2018
