This is my first digital piano. For testing the water this is a good starting point I would say, I just wanted to see if playing the piano is something I would consider as a serious hobby. However, after a little over a year I'm starting to want more as I am taking it more serious.
For one, the included pedal and keys are quite loud. Not my biggest problem, I play with headphones in my room, though people standing in the hallway can still hear the mashing.
Playing with either speakers or with any of the analog outputs generates a lot of static noise when more tones start layering (aka using the sustain pedal). I got one of those cheap static noise filters but that also significantly lowers the volume.
My biggest reason for wanting to upgrade, however, is the voices. I would use midi to use SampleTank or something, but I just want higher quality piano voices.
Bottom line, recommendable as a starter, but expect needing an upgrade one or two years down the line.
