Stay-at-home gig bag
Martin Krauser 24.06.2018
This is the gig bag for that guitar that doesn't leave the house too often, or if you don't have to brave public transport with it.

It is padded and the padding is actually reasonably thick, but it has no neck support, so bumping the guitar sideways or letting it tip over in this is riskier than I would recommend doing for fun. The nylon fabric itself is very sturdy and doesn't look like it will tear anytime soon, and the zippers also inspire confidence.

The pockets are only two, but they are well sized and will fit a notebook, strings, shorter cables, and other necessities. The carrying straps are padded and make carrying comfortable, but there is no single shoulder strap like on the more expensive gig bags.

This is still better than other gig bags at this price, but if you're out and about with your guitar often, it's well worth the extra grams and euros to buy the Thomann Premium models. After all, it's better to prevent than to cure an injury.

But if you move around by car or just leave the guitar mostly at home, you probably don't need the extra protection and practicality they offer and this is likely the gig bag you would get the most value from.

Great for short trips, car transport and home storage

I have hard case for my Epiphone, but often I need a lighter gigbag for short trips. Thomann Acoustic-Steel Gigbag is a great solution. Really great quality for this price, nothing more to want! It has a nice 20 mm padding, two big pockets. The back straps are really comfortable. I am very pleased with my Thomann Acoustic-Steel Gigbag. Great for short trips, car transport and home storage. The Price is also good! I fully recommend it.

Guitar Bag
Lynx Blindlind 02.06.2023
I am extremely impressed with its quality and functionality. The first thing that caught my attention was the thoughtful design. The bag is padded, protecting my guitar from scratches and dings, while still remaining lightweight and easy to carry. The shoulder straps are adjustable and comfortable, making it easy to transport my guitar to gigs or lessons.

The materials used in the construction of the bag are top-notch, and I can tell that it will last me for years to come. The zippers are sturdy and glide smoothly, and the interior is lined with a soft material that won't scratch my guitar's finish. It also has plenty of pockets to store accessories such as extra strings, cables, and picks.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. This guitar bag is not only stylish, but it provides the protection and convenience I need as a guitar player. I highly recommend it to any musician on the go.

Not a good suggested fit, but decent gig bag

It’s better than a dust cover bag and has 20mm of padding, if I’m not mistaken.

Nice bang for the buck with two drawbacks
Nevals 18.10.2024
Pros: price, lightweight but with enough cushion( some sturdy material is used, not plain sponge), good look.

Drawbacks:
1. Not enough room in bigger compartment for medium thick A4 folder. 2 cm wider would make big difference and it wouldnt cost much to produce.
2. Ok, it has not got neck support, but at least Velcro fastener should be considered from manufacture. Not because stability but for keepin headstock in one place. The inside material where front of headstock lays will tear down faster with end of strings rubbin against it while you carry bag around.

I just didn't like the pockets hiw they close. They are opening from the side instead from the top, but maybe it is just me being weird.

Great value fits exactly
Mark 12! 06.12.2022
This was recommended to me by the crew at Thomann to protect a Harley Benton HBO 850I bought it is a cheep fragile looking guitar from the advert photo so I thought it would need a lot of protection. The guitar when it arrived was far from fragile (best value guitar ever) the bag went beyond all expectation I can now play “off road” with confidence. Will fit a thin acoustic full size guitar easily with room to spare but can still hold it secure.says it will hold a dreadnaught I don’t doubt it for a second best value gig bag I own!

Capacious
Slowesthand 11.07.2023
Bought to accommodate a 1972 Morris 12 string dreadnought, a large bodied example of the species that was just too long for any of my other gigbags or cases.
I searched extensively for something which could contain the extra length and this was the only thing I could find for less than £50. The zips are nylon rather than metal and the padding on the shoulder straps is less generous than that of the case itself, so 5* would be too much, but at this price I was unable to find any rival product which could serve equally well for 12 string or baritone guitar.

Great quality for the price
FabioKM 18.02.2024
I travel a lot with the guitar on my back, in trains and buses, with the outer pockets filled with equipment and personal stuff (capo, extra strings, a Boss VE-8, an iPad, water bottle, small lunchbox, etc.).

Despite all the pressure and weight I put on it, it took 10 years before it started getting torn down from the inside.
I was so satisfied with this quality that I recently bought the same model again. And I still use the older one for storing another guitar!
