Excelent jazz bass!

Excellent construction featuring a medium dense carved top and resonant laminated ribs and back. The ebony FB does not need any dressing. I strung it with Thomastic Spirocores and the pizzicato sound was full, with lots of volume and good fundamentals. This bass delivers also a warm arco sound with Thomastic Belcantos. The rather thick top prefers heavy strings. Strongly recommended as a jazz bass or as a back up instrument after upgrading.
