A simple solution for carrying around your InEars
NikMartken 04.07.2018
I was looking something compact and sturdy to put in my bag that could easily contain my Shure SE215 with some accessories and a pair of JTS IE-1. My search ended in this Thomann Mix Case 1812A, small enough to fit in my backpack and big enough to contain all I need.
The protection is great: the material looks like to be a high-density plastic with aluminium profile, everything is kept together thanks to the main clip that won't accidentally open in your bag and releasing all over the small parts like earplugs, adaptors etc...
Maybe some compartments inside would help to keep everything organised, but this is just a nice to have feature.
Well built, sturdy and compact: if you want to keep all your small gear organised in your bag, well, this is the right choice to go for.

It is small
Tooomas 14.03.2020
It is not a flightcase quality, it is a small box. Very small actually. I thought I'd squeese a Behringer wired ear monitor unit and pair of t.bone EP4 earphones in there, but it was too small. Best use for me i found, is to hold two small condenser mics with clamps there. It has almost no upholstery but keeps small stuff safe and dust free.

Great sturdy case
AnEng 30.08.2017
I'm happy to keep my in-ears in here. It's a solidly-built handy little case that can also be used for any other small items. It's lightweight and will provide all the protection you need, unless you are in the habit of driving over your gear in a car !

Pros: Strong, light, lid fits well.
Cons: It would have helped if it had come with a block of foam that could be cut for whatever you want to store in there. As it is, my in-ears bounce around in there. I need to get hold of some foam !

Decent Little Box
Schengis 25.06.2019
This box came along with a bundle that I ordered. It certainly worked to hold the product that it came with, but I wouldn't say that it's anything spectacular.

Mine personally has difficulty staying latched completely. It's certainly sturdy enough to protect whatever's inside it, that's for sure, but it doesn't do much protecting if it won't stay shut, does it?

Since the other reviews tend to praise this box quite a bit, I'll at least admit that maybe I just got the bad one out of the bunch. If you're looking for a little case to stick your in-ear odds and ends in, this one will probably keep you happy.

In summary: It does its job, but I wouldn't trust mine to stay closed after being dropped.

Cant fault the quality
teehanstef 09.01.2018
Great little IEM holder. Padded and feels secure. I could of done with getting a tiny bit bigger as there isnt enough room in there for the two sets of IEMs I have and extra ear buds. Still that was my fault and not the product.

Totally ok for the price
Anonymous 19.08.2014
This is a very cheap case, and the quality is as expected: good but not great.

I bought it to house my Tascam DR-05, a small tripod, windshield and USB-cable.
It all fits perfectly and I feel that my recording gear is protected from hits and bumps.

The case's build quality is ok, though the hinges will probably not last forever.
But I don't expect a lot from a product in this price range. So for the price it is good value for money. I had it in my checked in luggage on a flight, and I noticed that it had been bouncing around quite a bit in my bag. But it held up great and kept my recorder safe.

For small equipment like pocket recorders, small microphones or headphones, these thomann cases are golden!

small metal box.... does what it says!
Harry D. 13.03.2015
I originally got this thinking "hey, it's inexpensive and I could use a case for my new in ear monitors" but the truth is it can hold the earphones, wireless receiver, spare batteries, and even the ear pieces and STILL fit in the outside pocket of my effects unit bag! Definitely worth having.

Useful and small. Not extremely tough, but they don't need to be. Tough enough for general purpose. I keep my in-ear monitors and the additional stuff in them. Could use a small handle.

Perfect for inears and small accessories
Dridridri 24.11.2019
Got mine with the Shure SE215-CL and really like it.
I put some velcro under it and keep it for my in ears, picks and small stuffs on my pedal board at all times.
Strong build but I wouldn't call this flight case sturdy as other thon cases are.
