I saw this and purchased, thinking that it would be the same size as the bookholder part of the music stand.

Nope! Waaaay bigger.
I can fit my musicstand, my guitar stand, footstool, the round base for my mic stand and two gooseneck stands. There's still more room and in the front, there's a pocket for a musicbook.

To stop music stand ending up in bits after short time on the road touring... this is a required purchase. good quality and side pocket for music scores / scripts etc.
